Bitches David Brooks

May I thank each and every one of you for allowing me the privilege of going over your dogs.

MPB 7 ent, (4 ab) 1st Connely’s GILLCONN MAY LOOK LIKE A LADY. Up to the height Black Brindle and white puppy with flashy head markings and white blaze/legs. Very soundly constructed and lovely balance look about her. Head shape was there, if not the size. First class mouth. Handler needs to pay attention to the width at the front. Moved better behind than in front. Won BPB on, balance, backend and ear carriage.   2ND Paterson’s BERAKA MILDAY. Red/white pup of a different style to the winner. Nice well shaped head, teeth not as good as class winners. Lovely level topline and backend giving her a four square profile. Moved and handled very well indeed.

PB 5 ent, (0 ab) 1stSummerfields’s CANAKEY SILVER ROSE. Very flashy and eye catching pied bitch who has many positives. Strong head throughout, deep stop and nice muzzle proportions with good under jaw, ears spoiled an otherwise nice front on view. Short back, good topline and cracking rib cage on show, in good condition for a baby, would like to see more bend of stifle. Moved more positively than 2nd place. 2ND Kincla’s ALCNIK ROSA PARKS. Lovely true front and tight feet on this black Brindle bitch that simply did not want to be here. Nice head although not as strong as winners, ears ok, nice topline and like the winner a touch straight in the stifle.

JB 2 ent, (0 ab) 1st Robinson’s LEGER KNOCKOUT WHIST. Lovely bitch who although will tick most of the boxes, she failed to excite me in the line up. For by her rather straight stifle she is very well put together, lovely shapely head set off with nice expression with top class dentition. Her coat and condition needs to be better for top honors.  2ND Ramsden’s STARFOISE R S U MILLY. Lovely coated red girl with the pigmentation that all red Stafford owners thrive for. Very plain headed and not in show condition.

SYB 6 ent, (2 ab) 1st Robinson’s LEGER KNOCKOUT WHIST (see Junior bitch) 2ND Stanway’s WAYSTAFF MEL CEI. Top sized Brindle girl who looked a picture in profile, she just never had the muzzle shape of the class winner, as expected from this kennel, very well put together.

MB 3 ent, (0 ab) 1ST Jones’s JAYBECADANS PRESCOT LASS. Nice headed Brindle bitch let down by high ears, Dark eye and cracking mouth. Reasonably well put together but feet need tightening up. Was in very nice show condition, coat was gleaming.  2ND Graham’s OURSIMMENTAL RAGING BULL. Smaller style Brindle/white who needs a touch more all over, very soundly constructed and in good fit condition. Head was ok, but let down by high ears.

NB 1 ent, (0ab) 1ST Paterson’s BERAKA FLAME. Red/white youngster who must have found where the mince pies were hidden. Very cobby type pup of sound make up. Head shape ok although I prefer a squarer muzzle, moved well.

PGB 3 ent, (0ab) 1ST Barr’s CRAIGAILS BLACK HASSEL. Up on the leg all black bitch with a very stylish profile, without exaggeration and overall clean outline to this girl. Dark eye and nice ears on a stylish head shape. Touch straight in the stifle, moved and handled nicely.  2ND King’s KOLATOZ PAWS FOR THORT. This Brindle girl had the body style that appeals to me, very clean but has strength in all areas. Nice enough head however muzzle length needs to be shorter for me. Bitch was lame but streets ahead of the 3rd placed.

LB 8 ent, (3ab)Best class of the day by a mile, and subsequently had me working for my lunch, nice trio of girls. 1ST Norton’s TIKKURILAN TICKA TEBOO. Only bitch who got my heart beating faster in the line up. I would like to see her fitter and better footed but no way she was anything other than BEST IN SHOW, No need to discuss her virtues with my co judge as he was of the same opinion as me, she stole the show. Fantastic keen and alert expression on a cracking well-defined head, she was mischievous, alive and animated throughout. She is so well balanced and a great example of a bitch with a blend of bull and terrier. Wish you well with her.2nd Cartwright’s BORGSTAFF HATCHEPSUT. This Brindle girl had her work cut out but gave a very good account of herself, better feet and condition than the winner and is slightly shorter in the back. Lost out to the head and expression of a classy winner. Good sound example of the breed, RBB.

OB 4 (1ab) 1ST Jones’s VAEVICTIS MISSY ELLIOT. On first glance I though this was my BB, She is very virtuous bitch with so many positives. Very striking headpiece.  Good eye and expression, she had the RBB beaten on head but not behind the collar, get her knocked into shape, she is worth the effort. 2nd Stanway’s WAYSTAFF DUTCH DELIGHT Again another soundly made bitch from this handler, did not score as well in the head or as clean in the lip as winner. Good honest example of the breed.

VB 1 ent, (0ab) William’s BEECHSTAFF SWEET CELEBRATION Best feet of the day on the oldest girl in the building, lovely height to weight ratio on this 7 year old black/white vet, Put some youngsters to shame Lovely clean outlined Stafford who moved very well in the front.
